报告题目:本土集成电路制造的代工模式与发展逻辑
演讲摘要:IC manufacturing adds on values to new applications through Moore's Law in the past fifty years, with a dedicated new fab for each new node every one and half years to two years, putting a big challenge to IDM players. IC foundry manufacturing provides a good solution to buffering the hard landing of the quick retirement of a new fab from one node to another as there is a pattern of product evolution in different segmentation of applications, i.e. a product roadmap on top of ITRS as More-than Moore. And a continuous and optimal use of a fab from standard logic as a technology driver to multiple embedded applications through relentless innovations on the first set of Moore's Law technology to add on values. IC foundry manufacturing is able to plan and operate a fab by Moore's Law and More-than Moore through introducing leading nodes and put in further innovations on mature nodes to make a success of business by extending the fab life from two years to more than 20 years to meet the needs of markets of product evolutions at different phases. Geo-economic tension changes eco-system of global IC industry and asks for an open-mind to tougher rules and harder self-discipline to stay in the international supply-chain.
